Introduction

Rektra believes that candidate’s origin, age or gender should not influence the recruiter’s decision about employment therefore candidates are anonymous when applying for a job. Rektra has a portal for employers, where recruiters can add the details of new openings as well as a candidate portal where job seekers fill their requirements for the job and their competences.

Problem

Rektra’s portals for job-seekers and recruiters don’t match company’s tone of voice and branding, what creates a negative impact on user experience, decreases brand awareness and does not meet users expectations.

Solution

Based on the research of the recruitment branch, I created responsive UI design of portals for job-seekers and employers. I applied company branding, optimised the functions as well as proposed improved UX solutions. Together with the team we updated the color palette, created UI components and started the development of the new portals.

My role

Together with product owners and in-house developer I created new features that would improve the user experience. I developed the design system aligned with the company's style guide, then created hi-fidelity prototypes of screens for dashboards.

I also designed a mobile version of the platform.
